A Spitfire and Hurricane from RAF Coningsby will be celebrating the life of Dame Vera Lynn with a flypast on Friday.

The funeral of Dame Vera, will see the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, based at RAF Coningsby, fly over her family home.

The Spitfire and Hurricane flypast will take place at midday, leaving the Coningsby base and going to Dame Vera’s home in Ditchling, East Sussex.
