A Lincolnshire farm has been put on the market for over £8 million as a whole, but it can also be purchased in two lots.
JHWalter is marketing Binbrook Top Farm on Kirmond Road in Binbrook, not far from Market Rasen, for a guide price of £8.1 million. The whole farm is around 808.07 acres.
The commercial arable farm is for sale by informal tender, which involves buyers being invited to submit competitive bids by 12pm on Tuesday, August 18.
The bids are put forward in a sealed envelope so buyers are unaware of what their rivals are bidding.
The main holding of 664 acres, including the farm building and five cottages, is adjacent to the west side of the village. A further block of 144 acres is located east of the village, between Newton Lane and Blands Hill.
The farmyard includes a grain storage for 3,000 tonnes in two buildings, workshop and machinery store, machinery and fertiliser store, secure machinery compound, office building and telecom mast site lease.
Two pairs of cottages and a detached cottage are options at additional fixed prices.
It can be bought in two lots:
- Lot 1 – Binbrook Top Farm, including the farmyard with farm buildings, farm office and the benefit of a telecom mast site with a guide price of £6,750,000. There are also optional cottages in addition to the price of the farm
- Lot 2 – Farmland east of Binbrook village, which in all is around 144.02 acres. This has a guide price of £1,350,000
