A developer’s plan to build 80 homes in Sibsey has been submitted to East Lindsey District Council.
Applicant Porch House Limited has asked for outline permission for the development off Main Road.
In documents before the council, the firm says the development will be a density of 21 dwellings per hectare which will “strike a reasonable balance between the need to make efficient use of the land whilst respecting the characteristics of the site.”
The proposal will include a mix of houses from one to four-bed with the potential to accommodate 30% of them as affordable-classed homes.
It says it will make provision for drainage, new stress, open spaces and landscaping – including a “green core” in the centre.
“The range of supporting technical assessments indicates that the land is develop-able, and a suitable residential environment can be created without harming surrounding land uses, historical or environmental interests or future residents of the development,” say the developers.
