Poppy collection box stolen from Spalding butchers

A man allegedly stole a poppy collection box from a Spalding butchers just two days after Remembrance Day.

The man entered G Simpsons Butchers in Hall Place on November 13 and left with the collection box, police said.

It’s unclear how much money was in the box at the time of the theft.

Lincolnshire Police released CCTV in connection with the theft and has asked anyone who recognises the man to call 101.
