Men named and charged after Boston stabbing

Two men have been named and charged by police after another man was stabbed during a fight in Boston.

Officers were called to Tunnard Street in Boston at 12.10am on Monday, November 18 after reports of a fight involving a number of people.

Armed police were deployed and found that a 24-year-old man had sustained a serious stab wound to his abdomen. The victim remains in hospital, where his condition was described as stable and it is not believed to be life-threatening.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Eduard Atanansov, of Tunnard Street, has since been charged with wounding with intent.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of affray.

Andrejs Nikitins, 44, also of Tunnard Street, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

The other man, 26, has been released and will face no further action.
