Lincolnshire man killed in M63 crash

Police have named a man killed in a crash on the M63 as 50-year-old Shay O’Connell from Bourne.

Shay was riding a motorcycle when he was involved in the crash with a stationary vehicle.

It happened at junction 24 on Wednesday, May 8, at 1am.

The collision, along with another incident in the Scammonden Bridge area of West Yorkshire, caused miles of disruption.

West Yorkshire Police thanked motorists for their patience and cooperation.
