A plan for nearly 90 homes to be built in Hogsthorpe has been submitted to East Lindsey District Council.
Developers Pridgeon Farms, wants to build the new homes, along with a long walk way, open spaces and car park off land on West End.
The 89 planned houses will circle land to the back of Hogsthorpe Primary School and neighbouring properties.
In documents submitted to ELDC, agent JHWalter LLP say: “The site is considered an appropriate and sustainable location as it is immediately adjacent to the village’s northern and eastern boundaries and a short walk to a number of services and facilities located in the village.
“The development will also preserve the character, appearance and the setting of the village and will have no visual or adverse impacts on neighbouring listed heritage assets.”
The south of the site will mostly be two-storey detched, semi-detached and terrace houses, while the central secant will include two-story one and two bed apartments.
The north side of the development will include mostly single-storey detached bungalows.
They say the site will also promote public space along its north and western boundaries, including “public exercise stations”.
