Elderly man in serious condition after Grimsby crash

An elderly man remains in a serious condition in hospital after he was hit by a car in Grimsby on Tuesday.

Humberside Police put out an appeal to try and identify the pedestrian and also who his next of kin are, after the crash with a black Volkswagen up! car on Victor Street at around 9.45am on Tuesday, November 20.

Victor Street, Grimsby closed to traffic after a man was knocked down near to the crossing. Police are currently at the scene awaiting investigation units to arrive. A man was transferred to hospital after being hit by a Black Volkswagen.Updates to followCopyright Grimsby News And Pictures Agency.

A statement from Humberside Police said: “We have now found his family who are with him in hospital where the 70-year-old is still in a serious condition. Thank you for your help and for sharing our appeal.”
