A £5 million plan to build a petrol station, drive-through coffee shop, two food outlets and office buildings is expected to be approved by councillors.
Mill Hill Developments has lodged the plan for the business park to South Kesteven District Council in a move that could create 75 jobs.
If approved, the 4.7 acre (1.9 hectares) mixed-use development site would be built at the junction of Harlaxton Road and Trent Road in Grantham.
Around 133 parking spaces are also included in the plans.
Now, planning officers at the council have recommended that the proposals are given the go ahead.
Councillors on the authority’s development management committee will make a decision on November 13.
The authority’s regeneration arm, InvestSK, said the plan would “contribute hugely to developing a thriving employment and spend” in Grantham.
Applicants said in their plans: “The site has a long-standing allocation for employment development purposes, but has now become truly available for comprehensive development.
“Direct employment from the development is estimated to be 75 full time equivalent jobs, of which 37 full time equivalent jobs are estimated to be new jobs created for the economy.
“Additionally, construction is estimated to result in an additional 10 full time equivalent jobs.”
