You can be an extra in ITV’s Wild Bill cop drama

A film casting agency is looking for paid extras to feature in ITV crime drama Wild Bill, which is due to start filming in Boston next month.

As previously reported, Emmy and Golden Globe nominated American actor Rob Lowe will star as Chief Constable of the East Lincolnshire Police force, Bill Hixon, in the six-part crime drama with filming taking place around London and in Lincolnshire.

Mad Dog 2020 is looking for male and female paid extras between the ages of 18-40 ready for next month to take part and no acting experience is required.

Wild Bill storyline

Wild Bill introduces high-flying US cop Bill Hixon and from the outset he shows he isn’t about making friends and he’s there to get the job done and get out.

When he lands in Boston, Lincolnshire with his 14-year-old daughter Kelsey in tow he’s hoping they can flee their painful recent past, but his new community are “just as smart-mouthed, cynical and difficult to impress as he is”, causing him to question everything about himself.

Rob Lowe said: “As an actor, Wild Bill is a larger than life character who’s outrageously articulate, has nothing to lose and revels in being an American fish out of water. As a Executive Producer, I’m excited to work with such talented partners and to come back to work in the UK, which I always love.”
