Wildlife lovers managed to get beautiful first pictures of a baby seal at Donna Nook for the first time in the season.
The first seal pup of the year was born on Monday October 22, but this is the first time that people have been able to get a closer look.
Photographer Luke Webster managed to get a great picture of a newborn when he visited the site in North Somercotes.
When he posted the picture online, lots of people got in touch to say that it was “beautiful” and “cute.”
Five pups were born for the Donna Nook warden’s first count of the season on Friday, October 26.
More seals are expected to be born in November, when the majority of visitors are expected.
Anyone wanting to visit Donna Nook to see the seals are being encouraged to visit during the week.
The Donna Nook warden is doing a weekly count of pups every Friday on their Facebook page.
When the first seal pup was born, the warden posted on their Facebook page: “This one is a little further out from the viewing area so an extra part of the dune has been roped off so the pup can be seen from a safe distance.
“Don’t worry, there will be hundreds more in November, so don’t all rush down to see this one!”
