Man released with no charge after alleged rape

A man who was arrested following a police search and alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl in Boston has been released with no further action.
As reported at the time, officers and a police drone unit were deployed to the Brown’s Road area of Boston in the early hours of October 6 following reports of a missing 16-year-old.
The drone unit helped to locate her and she was found with a man in his 30s.
The girl reported to police that she had been raped and the man was held in custody.
Lincolnshire Police said on Sunday, October 7 that the man had been released and that they would be taking no further action on the case.
