Detailed plans for more than 100 new homes to be built in Kirton have been submitted to Boston Borough Council.
The plans were given outline approval in January 2016, and now NKW Design on behalf of Ashwood Homes, has submitted the final designs for the London Road development.
A design and access statement to the authority details how the applicants have worked for the past 18 months to create the plans, including taking into account responses from local authorities.
The plans include a range of two-storey one to five bed houses, with 21 of the builds set to be affordable homes – 15 rented and six shared ownership.
It promotes ‘generous areas of public open space’ with ‘good surveillance to all public aspects’ and ‘generous private parking’.
The statement states: “The proposed scheme has responded positively to the proposals for this area of Kirton. This has been achieved by following the above principles.
“The end result is an attractive scheme providing an attractive and secure environment for future residents.
“Consideration has been given to pedestrians and cyclists, and routes have been designed to relate to the wider area, giving residents easy access to the nearby facilities.”
When the outline plans were originally passed no objections were raised to the development, with one local store writing to praise the use of the land.
