The two men who died in a crash at the A153 crossroads at Belchford earlier this month have been identified.
As previously reported, the drivers of two white vans, one a Citroen Relay and the other a Mercedes Sprinter, both died after the crash which happened at around 9.45pm on October 12.
Coroner P Smith will open an inquest at Lincoln Coroners Court today (Tuesday, October 30) into the death of 35-year-old Daniel Peter Smith from Cleethorpes.
An inquest into the death of Carl David Martin, 49, from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire will be opened by coroner P Smith on Wednesday, October 31.
During both inquest openings identification will be confirmed with brief circumstances of what happened and a hearing date will be provisionally set for the future pending police investigations.
Lincolnshire Police said the day after the crash on October 13 that a third man, aged 25, and believed to be from the Humberside area, was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary and was detained in the Intensive Care Unit, but there is no update on his condition at the time of writing.
