Police helicopter called to charity shop burglary

Three men have been arrested after a charity shop in Bourne was targeted by burglars last night.

Helicopters and a dog unit were deployed to help police find offenders after a break-in at Barnardo’s on Sedgefield Court in the early hours of Friday, September 7.

One man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, assaulting a police officer, theft of a motor-vehicle and possession of a bladed article.

A second man was arrested on suspicion of aggravate burglary and assaulting a police officer.

While the third man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and assault.

Lincolnshire Police are urging anyone with information contact the force on 101, quoting incident 5 of September 7.
