Man hit by car in Skegness dies

A man who was seriously injured when he was hit by a car in Skegness has died, police confirmed.

As reported previously, a 29-year-old pedestrian was hit by a silver Audi A3 at around 7.25pm on Wednesday, August 15.

The collision happened on Wainfleet Road near to the Jobcentre.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said on Friday, August 17: “We are sad to report that the pedestrian has now died. Their family have been made aware.

“We are appealing again for anyone who was a witness to this collision, or has dashcam footage, to come forward.

“If anyone saw a silver Audi A3 prior to the collision in the area, please also speak to officers.”
