Three windows were shattered by a person captured on CCTV throwing bricks at the back of a cinema in Boston over the weekend.
The business is offering a £1,000 reward for information leading to a conviction after the incident, which happened at Savoy Cinema on West Street in Boston just before 5am on Saturday, June 30.
The cinema’s general manager Samuel Thwaytes told Lincolnshire Reporter he found the damage when he came into work the next day.
Samuel said: “It wasn’t a nice experience to come into work and find it. There was a lot of shattered glass on the ground, but no additional damage.”
Initial quotes to replace the windows show the cost of the damage to be around £500 to £1,000.
The cinema is advising people with information to private message its Facebook page or to contact the cinema manager on 01205 363634.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police added: “Incident 124 of June 30 was reported at 9.01am. This was a report of an attempted burglary into a commercial premises on West Street, Boston.
“No arrests or charges have yet been made.”
