Police have confirmed that the body of a man found near Normanby in North Lincolnshire is that of 34-year-old Kamil Mrzyglod, who was reported missing earlier this week.

Mr Mrzyglod, originally from Poland, was reported missing after he was seen leaving Scunthorpe General Hospital on March 30.

He was described at the time as vulnerable and in need of help.

Humberside Police said officers were called to Bagmoor Wind Farm at around 3pm on April 3 following reports that a man’s body had been discovered.

The force confirmed the identity of the man on Thursday, April 5, adding that they are not treating the death as suspicious.

A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “His family has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

“Thank you to everyone who helped with our appeal to try and find him.”
