Teen seriously injured in Grantham fair assault

A teenage boy was seriously injured in an assault during a busy fair in Grantham.

The 16-year-old was attacked between 6.45pm and 7pm on Monday, March 19 and the town’s Market Place would have been very busy with the Mid Lent Fair taking place, Lincolnshire Police said.

Anyone who saw the assault or with any information should contact the police on 101 quoting incident 343 of March 20.
