Quick-thinking officers praised for response to possible Skegness stabbing

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning with injuries likely to have been caused by a blade.

The attack took place on Prince Alfred Avenue in Skegness on Sunday, March 25, and was reported to police at 12.45am.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said officers put pressure on the wound of the man, who was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital “with an injury consistent with what a blade may cause”.

“There is no confirmation of what weapon was used”.

Paramedics later praised the actions of the police officers.
