Police appeal for witnesses after man seriously injured in Grimsby Boxing Day attack

A man has suffered serious head injuries after an alleged assault in Grimsby on Boxing Day.

Humberside Police were called to a house on Newbury Grove at around 3pm, after the man was found by neighbours in the hallway of his home with a head injury.

His injuries have been described as serious but not life-threatening.

Three Grimsby men have been released under investigation after being questioned in connection with the incident.

A police spokesperson said: “We are now appealing for anyone who is able to help us with our enquiries to call us on 101, quoting log 204 of December 26.
