Hare coursers arrested after Lincolnshire Police drone finds them hiding in drain

Two men suspected of hare coursing have been arrested after they were caught hiding in a drain by a Lincolnshire Police drone.

Police received a report of hare coursing from a member of the public in Garwick, Heckington, at just after 9am on Friday, January 19.

Officers pursued the two men in a car and they attempted to get away by taking a bridge then a rail line, before hiding on foot.

Two drones were deployed with dog support on the ground.

One of the drones found the men hiding in a drain in the Swineshead Bridge area.

A dog was also seized.
