I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here star Rebekah Vardy has accused fellow contestant Jamie Lomas of being ‘sexist’ after a row broke out during last night’s show.
Hollyoaks actor Jamie was appointed prime minister of the camp and had to assign the duties to fellow camp mates and appointed Rebekah and The Saturdays’ singer Venessa White in charge of cleaning out the toilet.
Explaining the situation to appoint Rebekah to the role, Jamie said: “I’ve just said I didn’t want the boys to clean the s*** up.”
Rebekah responded by saying: “So it’s alright for girls to do it then?”
She then added: “Slightly sexist, Jamie.”
However, normality resumed when the duo found out they would be taking on tonight’s (December 1) Bushtucker Trial and Jamie told Rebekah she was his “sparring partner”, before giving her a high five.
Previously, the wife of England and Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy became the first contestant in the show’s 17 year history to be forced to miss a trial due to medical reasons.
I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here is on ITV1 every evening.
