Lincolnshire WAG Rebekah Vardy branded ‘Lord Vardymort’ after losing I’m a Celeb trial

This story is over

Lincolnshire WAG Rebekah Vardy felt the force of social media labelling her a bad loser after last night’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here episode.

Rebekah, who is married to England and Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, lost the Battle of the Sexes trial and appeared to take her anger out at fellow contestant Shappi Khorsandi.

The duo failed to beat Dennis Wise and Jamie Lomas in a race across the jungle, with some viewers unimpressed at how Rebekah took the defeat.

During the challenge, Rebekah yelled: “Shappi, come on,” and Shappi muttered under her breath “I’m actually going to kill her.”

When the ladies returned to camp, Rebekah said to Georgia Toffolo: “F****** Shappi, oh my god,” before rolling her eyes, before adding: “Shappi was lagging behind massively in the swimming [challenge].”

The men in the camp were rewarded with a feast for winning the trial, while the women had to enjoy a dinner of rice and beans.

One tweeted: “Good god Lord Vardymort is an absolute b***h to Shappi! Calm yourself live, you’re not that bloody special!”

Another posted: “Mardy Vardy should be Becky’s new nickname.”

I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here is on ITV1 every evening.
