Two dead and four seriously injured after crash on A1077 near Barton

Two men have been killed and four have been seriously injured in a fatal crash on the A1077 between South Ferriby and Barton.

The crash between a Vauxhall Astra and Audi TT happened at around 10.30pm on Friday, October 27.

Two men travelling in the Astra died.

Another man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries.

A further two sustained serious injuries not thought to be life-threatening.

The Audi driver, a 23-year-old man, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Police have not formally identified the two men killed.

The road was closed until 7.50am this morning to allow the emergency services to carry out their work.
