Armed police called after man left with serious injuries following altercation in Grimsby

Investigations are underway after a man was left with a serious injury to his hand following an altercation in Grimsby over the weekend.

Armed police were called to the incident happened shortly before 9.30pm on Saturday, September 16 on Castle Street.

A 27–year-old man and a 38–year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Anyone with any information that could assist our investigations is asked to call 101 quoting log 546 of September 16 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
