Police were flagged down at around 11.30pm on Saturday, July 8 by an anxious couple near the Gunby roundabout.

The woman had gone into labour.

An ambulance was called, however police decided instead to escort the couple to Boston Pilgrim Hospital.

A Lincolnshire Police sergeant contacted the couple soon after, although the baby had not yet been born.
