A Spalding teenager will stand trial later this year for attempted murder after pleading not guilty at an Essex court.

Knight pleaded not guilty following an incident in Harlow on January 26, 2016.

It is alleged that both Knight and Akpata attempted to murder Robert Summerville in The Downs, Harlow last year, according to local reports.

Knight faces charges of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

The trial will take place on August 29 at Chelmsford Crown Court and is expected to last nine days.
