New plans for Lincolnshire glamping park submitted

Plans have been submitted to create a new glamping park on a site currently classed as paddock land in Brant Broughton.

Applicants Architects Flare Visual Ltd propose to provide 10 glamping pods with an associated amenity building just off High Street, creating three jobs in the process.

The application states that the creation of the clamping park will help to bring tourists to the area and in turn boost the local economy, which will ‘support and sustain the local village public house and shop’.

It is proposed that the site will share an access road with a nearby touring caravan site.

The application states: “The provision of this exclusive glamping pod development will be an economic benefit to the local community.

“Users of the facility will be encouraged by the site owner to use the local village services.

“In the long term this will help to support and sustain the existing village facilities, including the village shop and public house, which are all easily accessible from the application site on foot via the existing footpath links.”

North Kesteven District Council’s planning committee will decide on the proposals at a later date.
