No further action will be taken against three men identified by police regarding an alleged incident of sexual touching of a schoolgirl on a Lincolnshire train.

Officers from the British Transport Police have spoken to the men following a media appeal.

The incident was alleged to have happened on December 13, 2016 on a train from Grantham to Peterborough.

As previously reported, the men were accused of making sexual remarks to a 13-year-old girl onboard the train, with one then allegedly touching her thigh.

When she pointed to her school blazer, one of the men was said to have made sexual comments about her.

The men were then accused of preventing the girl from moving to another carriage.

Investigating officer PC Wendy Freeman said at the time the girl was left very shaken by the incident.
