Woman raped after night out in Cleethorpes

Officers are investigating the suspected rape of a woman who shared a taxi home with two men after a night out in Cleethorpes.

The incident is believed to have happened at some point after the taxi picked the group up outside Teddy’s Bar at around 4.50am on Sunday, December 11.

Police are now keen to trace the men and the driver of taxi, who may be key witnesses in the investigation.

Prior to getting into the cab, the woman had been in the Vegas Grill in Market Place, where she was seen speaking to one of the men.

They were then joined by the second man and the three got into the vehicle together.

No further details of the vehicle have been confirmed.
