Scunthorpe man suffers fractured leg in hit and run

A man has suffered a fractured leg and other injuries after being involved in a hit and run in Scunthorpe.

The crash took place at 1pm on Saturday, October 22, when the 35-year-old victim was hit by a blue car while crossing Frodingham Road by the junction with Sheffield Street.

The driver of the car then drove away from the scene of the collision.

Humberside Police believe the driver to be a woman with blonde hair but have not been able to track her down over the last three weeks.

Any witnesses should call 101, quoting log number 158 of October 26.
