Hundreds of people attended JoeFest this weekend, which showcased some of the county’s brightest musical talents.

The Pylons, Calligraphy Club and Lauren Rycroft were just some of the Lincolnshire-based acts that graced The Danny and Nicky Cowley Stage and The Charley Holmes Stage at Stourton Estates, Horncastle.

Headliners Krrum concluded the festival with their song Evil Twin which boasts over 5 million streams on Spotify.

JoeFest originally started three years ago for Joe Davies’ 18th birthday in his back garden but as the event grew the venue had to change and this year’s site welcomed almost 500 guests.

Earlier this week BBC Radio One DJ Scott Mills was asked to name the portaloos at the festival, which he named after himself.

Organiser Joe Davies told Lincolnshire Reporter: “In my wildest dreams I couldn’t have visualised how the festival has ended up.

“There’s been loads of people here who have had a great time and come together to make it a nice and friendly atmosphere.

“The way it’s gone today, we’re really up for continuing JoeFest.”

Alex and Harrison from Krrum, who had previously featured at Radio One’s Big Weekend in May and closed JoeFest, said: “The crowd was really good, it’s been a really good day and the festival has been put together really well.”
