What to expect from the Woodhall Spa 1940s Festival

Fans of the British home front are set for a special treat later this month with the return of the always popular Woodhall Spa 1940s Festival.

The sixth instalment of the event takes place on July 15 and 16 in the Lincolnshire village, with a variety of activities, musical performances and stalls on show across the weekend.

The festival is ran entirely by volunteers who do not receive any form of payment for their work.

Over 40,000 people attended the festival in 2016.
