Man found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting boy

A man has been found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting a boy at Lincoln Crown Court today.

William Andrew Wright, 30, is originally from Northern Ireland and is currently in prison for previous convictions.

Today he has been found guilty of eight counts of rape and sexual assault of a boy.

He was found guilty by unanimous jury following trial at Lincoln Crown Court.

He was previously convicted of a string of sexual offences against children – 32 offences in total including sexual assault, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, inciting a girl to engage in pornography and making of indecent images.

He will be sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court on July 7.
