Lincolnshire County Council 2017 election results by numbers

The Conservative Party has regained majority control at Lincolnshire County Council, scooping up 53.35% of the overall votes in the local election on Thursday, May 4.

Results for each of the 70 seats on the council came in throughout the night and into the early hours of the morning, and can be reviewed in full here.

Labour finished in second place with six seats, four independents were elected and Liberal Democrats and Lincolnshire Independents each had a councillor elected.

UKIP lost every seat it held on the county council.

Some 176,789 votes were received in total, despite 552,741 people in the county being registered to do so. Over 500 votes were marked as spoiled.
