Video: Dramatic scenes as water gushes from burst pipe in Lincolnshire

A burst water main is affecting hundreds of homes in the Mareham Le Fen area.

Anglian Water have said a pipe burst near to the A155 between Mareham Le Fen and Ravesby at around 6am this morning, causing significant gushes of water.

Teams have now completed repairs and stopped the water from escaping, however ongoing flushing works to ensure air is not in the water supply will mean water pressure in the area will be low.

Disruptions are expected to be ongoing until around 3pm.

A number of homes will have low water pressure until around 3pm today.

An Anglian Water spokesperson said: “You may be experiencing lower than normal pressure, but we expect his to be back to normal by around 3pm today.

“Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience.
