The ‘Hunks and Horses’ Charity Calendar is on sale for 2017, with a number of images promising to put colour in your cheeks.

In its fourth year, the calendar has sold around 6,000 copies worldwide and has raised almost £35,000 for Cancer Research UK and the Horses for World Horse Welfare charity.

In its final year, the charity calendar, which started life in Scunthorpe, hopes to raise £15,000 for the charities, taking the grand total to £50,000.

This is the final year for the 'Hunks and Horses' Calendar.

Calendars are on sale now and cost £6 each.

Thousands of the calendars have been sold overseas over the years, shipping to America, Australia, Hungary, Spain, France and New Zealand.

Kim Crawford, head of the fundraising group and the brain-child of the calendar, said: “Several years ago I bought a similar calendar for my mother as a Christmas gift, and she loved it!

Kim's friends helped her create the calendar in 2013.

Kim’s friends helped her create the calendar in 2013.

“So I thought, this would be a great way to raise money for two charities which are really close to my heart: (Testicular) Cancer Research UK and the Horses for World Horse Welfare.

“My husband is a testicular cancer survivor and he loves going to the gym, so I gathered him and his friends together along with mine and my friend’s horses, and the ‘Hunks & Horses’ charity calendar began.”
